Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Lowndes County Released Inmates does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider receives the query under its own privacy practices.
Messages sent by email or through a contact form may include a name, email address, and any details the sender chooses to provide. Those messages are kept as needed to answer the request. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Ordinary technical records may be created when a browser loads a page. They help operate the site, diagnose faults, understand traffic, and protect the service. Such records can include:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser type and version;
- device category and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on them;
- the referring website, when one is supplied; and

- law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal demand or court order.
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No website, network, transmission, or storage system can be promised as fully secure. Lowndes County Released Inmates therefore cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The service is intended for adults. Lowndes County Released Inmates does not knowingly seek or collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request review and deletion.
Choices About Personal Data
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify a request, a person may ask to:
- receive a copy of personal information held by the site;
- correct personal information that is inaccurate;
- delete information that is no longer required; or
- opt out of certain processing where that choice is legally available.
These requests concern data held by Lowndes County Released Inmates. Records held by the Sheriff's Office, Lowndes County courts, GDC, DCS, the Parole Board, or another agency must be addressed to that record owner. Georgia public-record access and agency production are governed in part by O.C.G.A. ยง 50-18-71, not by this site's privacy choices.
Changes to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. A revised version becomes effective when posted here, together with its new effective date.
